You may remember the Salvin Park Residential Aged Care Facility on 880 Creek Road in Carindale. It’s been bought up by Tricare, and construction is moving swiftly ahead on a huge new aged care facility on the land.

It’s a massive process of development, with five stages set to be carried out over 15 years. In total there will be 173 beds of residential aged care accommodation and 191 new independent living units. There’ll also be the usual community centres and facilities, built and appointed to the high Tricare standard.
