We needed to bring the buyers in and get the family a price that was an accurate representation of this lovely home. 

We got to work, running a solid campaign over the 28-day listing. Let’s take a look at how it all went. 

Strong Interest from Buyers

After advising the sellers on how to present the property, we organised the creation of professionally produced marketing materials, like photography, to help elevate the visual presence online. 

We leveraged our vast network of contacts and buyers, sending out the word that we had another prime listing. The power of network marketing did its thing, with interest coming in from across Australia as well as from our international network. 

We also used our social media following to positive effect, distributing it to our thousands of engaged followers and putting it in front of buyers’ eyes that the main real estate portals don’t reach. 

As a result of our marketing efforts, we welcomed 38 inspection groups through the property. This was clearly a home that sparked an emotional connection with buyers – the elevated position, quaint feel and impeccable location all worked together to make people want to live here. 

A range of buyers came in and expressed their interest, from young families to investors and local downsizers. Before we get into who was the successful buyer, I want to talk a bit about our relationship with the sellers. 

A Deceased Estate Sale 

This was a deceased estate sale. Selling a family home after the passing of a loved one can be an emotional and often overwhelming process. It’s more than just a transaction – it’s about memories and legacy and care. Sellers often want this process to be handled by someone they know and trust. 

Both the grandson and the daughter of the late homeowner recommended us to the executor of the estate. This is a family we’ve been close to for many years, and we’ve worked with the daughter and her husband, their son, their daughter and even the son’s friends. That’s generational endorsement for you – so needless to say, it was an honour to take on the sale of this Camp Hill property for the family.
